About ACC
ACC is New Zealand's accident insurance scheme focused on injury prevention and support for those recovering from accidents. The Investments Group manages a $50 billion multi-asset class portfolio designed to offset future injury claims costs. The majority of the assets are managed locally, spanning listed and unlisted investments both in New Zealand and internationally.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join ACC's Investments Group in Wellington. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of investment activities across the $50 billion portfolio. Your efforts will directly aid Portfolio Managers by providing critical operational support and data required for informed investment decisions that generate long-term benefits for New Zealanders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Match trades with counterparties and communicate settlement instructions to ACC's custodian.
- Carry out cash and stock reconciliations across various systems and sources.
- Detect, investigate, and resolve settlement discrepancies promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting operational efficiency while safeguarding internal controls.
- Deliver precise and timely information to Portfolio Managers to assist in decision making.
- Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile

- Tertiary qualification in Finance or a related field is favored.
- Experience with Bloomberg is advantageous.
