About the Role
We are inviting applications for a full-time, permanent Internal Auditor position based in Bonn, Germany, starting November 2026. The role focuses on auditing all processes and organizational aspects within DHL Supply Chain across the EMEA region and UKI, along with selected global audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute risk-oriented and process-driven audit assignments covering areas such as Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Health & Safety, Business Continuity, Security, and Operations within DHL Supply Chain.
- Plan audit engagements and develop appropriate audit programs.
- Lead or participate in project kickoff and closure meetings.
- Conduct interviews, analyze audit data including collection and processing, and perform necessary audit testing.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation of audit findings adhering to established standards.
- Deliver detailed audit reports and high-quality results under the supervision of senior auditors and managers.
- Establish and nurture productive relationships with auditees and key organizational stakeholders.
- Support the refinement and implementation of audit principles, standards, and methods relevant to Supply Chain audits and assist in audit program development.
- Contribute to the annual evaluation of risks and planning for Supply Chain audits.
- Proactively manage personal professional growth and development.
Candidate Profile
- University degree or equivalent qualification from any discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with exposure to auditing and logistics.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Certifications such as CIA (IIA/DIIR), project management experience, and background in supply chain operations are assets.
- Strong analytical thinking and conceptual skills.
- Interest and aptitude for data analytics and openness to technological innovation including AI and language models.
- High sense of accountability and integrity.
- Ability to perform efficiently under pressure.
- Positive, proactive mindset with willingness to learn new areas.
- Excellent communication skills and rapid understanding.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for business purposes up to 50% within Europe, occasionally worldwide.
