Role Overview

• Conduct analyses of markets, sectors, business models, and companies supporting deal sourcing and crafting new investment hypotheses.
• Assist with commercial and financial due diligence, including market research, competitor analysis, company valuations, and client communications.
• Help develop and refine financial models, valuation assessments, sensitivity studies, and investment proposals.
• Prepare investment memorandums, decision documents, and presentations to support internal and Investment Committee deliberations.
• Support organizational tasks involved in structuring, preparing, and executing M&A and private equity deals.
• Evaluate opportunities for value creation through AI and examine technological disruption risks affecting target firms.
• Contribute to enhancing internal processes, frameworks, and tools throughout the investment cycle, spanning deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management.

Candidate Profile

• Outstanding academic record pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related discipline from a leading university.
• Previous internship experience in areas such as M&A, investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or strategy consulting.
• Exceptional analytical abilities with a strong grasp of market dynamics, business frameworks, and economic interrelations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with foundational skills in financial modeling and valuation.
• An AI-native approach to work, including practical familiarity with contemporary AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or equivalents for research, analysis, and automation.
• A keen interest in AI technologies and their transformative potential for traditional industries and enterprises.
• A methodical, meticulous, and autonomous work ethic backed by high quality standards.
• Strong initiative, self-direction, eagerness to learn, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluent German at C2 level and professional working proficiency in English.
