Interior Designer

Position Overview

This is a fully remote role available only to candidates based in Latin America who are bilingual in Spanish and English. The company seeks a skilled Virtual Interior Designer proficient in English (level B2 or higher) to work full time, approximately 45 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their goals and requirements for interior spaces.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, painters, and construction teams to gain comprehensive insight into the project.
• Evaluate movement patterns and the utilization of space to optimize design solutions.
• Produce sketches and visual materials to present preliminary concepts to clients.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate materials, furnishings, and décor.
• Employ design software applications to develop and illustrate finalized interior plans.
• Establish project timelines and budgets, providing clients with precise cost estimates.
• Procure required materials in adherence to project specifications and budget constraints.
• Supervise the installation of furniture, materials, and design features on-site.
• Address and resolve any client issues or concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, techniques, and innovations in interior design.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess at least six years of professional experience with tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Reddit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exhibit high attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective organizational skills.
• Demonstrate a refined aesthetic sense for creating visually appealing interiors.
• Show proficiency in visual design concepts such as proportion and aesthetic balance.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Be skilled in using CAD software for design purposes.
• Possess a foundational knowledge of building codes and inspection standards related to interior environments.

Education and Experience

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a closely related discipline.
• Completion of coursework focused on computer-aided design (CAD) is strongly desirable.
• Certifications in interior design are considered highly advantageous.
• Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience is required.
