The client is a utility service provider operating in the South-East region, committed to delivering services sustainably, economically, and socially responsible while aiming to create enduring value for all stakeholders.
Role Overview
This role supports the development and execution of Information Management (IM) strategies, standards, and frameworks compliant with ISO 19650 across client projects and programmes. Responsibilities include managing IM functions, delivering training on IM processes and systems, assuring document quality, and contributing to digital and strategic initiatives including the setup and evolution of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IM policies, standards, and procedures aligned with ISO 19650 for projects and programmes.
- Lead and maintain the IM function to uphold established processes and standards within projects and programmes.
- Provide training and awareness-building on IM practices to project teams, fostering ongoing improvements.
- Ensure the quality and compliance of submitted documents and artefacts through rigorous assurance and control.
- Manage and support the IM team including direct and indirect reports through coaching and leadership.
- Contribute knowledge and practices to the global digital centre of excellence, including developing process documentation and case studies.
- Assist with IM strategy and solution development during bid processes.
- Support the implementation and continual development of the project Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Collaborate on initiatives aimed at achieving net zero carbon goals by identifying and managing related emissions during project delivery.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven technical expertise in IM systems such as Aconex, Viewpoint, and CDE platforms.
- Extensive experience in information management, document control, and ISO 19650 compliance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly organized, collaborative team player capable of independently managing IM processes and training others.
