In House Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and monitor designated areas to identify and address potential security threats.
• Manage entry controls by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring authorized access only.
• Detect and report any suspicious activities to the management team and relevant authorities.
• Operate security technology such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems to maintain safety standards.
• Implement and uphold company safety protocols and policies to ensure a secure work environment.
• React quickly and appropriately to emergencies, accidents, and alarm activations.
• Document incidents and maintain detailed logs of daily security operations.
• Support crowd management and access control during events when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid security certification such as PLRD or RTT.
• Prior security experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to stay vigilant throughout lengthy shifts.
• Capability to act decisively in emergency situations.
• Physical fitness to meet the role's demands.
• Flexibility to work during nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Hours and Schedule

• Shift system: 12-hour shifts with a rotating timetable.
• Work cycle: Four consecutive working days followed by two days off, rotating accordingly.
• Availability for on-call duties in emergencies may be required.
