Job Overview
Based at our Springwood facility in Brisbane, Queensland, this permanent full-time position offers an immediate start opportunity. You will be part of a renowned Australian bakery brand committed to food safety and quality.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure thorough cleaning and restocking of bathrooms, toilets, and shared areas.
- Manage waste disposal safely by emptying bins and removing rubbish hygienically.
- Perform floor maintenance including mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming in amenity spaces.
- Utilize cleaning chemicals following prescribed safety procedures.
- Uphold cleanliness standards compliant with food safety frameworks such as HACCP and GMP.
- Conduct regular checks to verify workplace cleanliness adherence.
- Assist other departments to maintain high hygiene levels throughout the premises.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of one year cleaning experience within a food manufacturing (FMCG) environment is essential.
- Knowledge and experience handling cleaning chemicals safely are mandatory.
- Good physical strength to manage occasional heavy lifting tasks.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Work Schedule
The roster requires availability from Tuesday through Saturday, between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Compensation
The position offers an hourly wage of $27.17.
