Position Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a strategic consultant to executive and senior leadership. The role involves partnering with business leaders to align HR strategies with overall organizational goals, while supporting initiatives in talent management, organizational efficiency, workforce planning, and leadership growth. This individual contributor role demands a consultative approach, expertise in driving business results through people management, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects from idea to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executives and business heads to craft and execute strategic HR solutions aligned with business aims.
- Provide guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, managing change, succession strategies, and talent growth.
- Coach leadership to enhance management capabilities and team productivity.
- Drive HR programs and projects through all phases from planning to rollout.
- Act as a liaison between HR and business teams to ensure cohesive communication and alignment.
- Leverage workforce analytics to aid business choices and spot trends.
- Work together with HR Centers of Excellence and Shared Services to deliver smooth HR operations.
- Promote positive organizational culture and employee engagement activities.
- Advise on operational tactics that boost business success through effective people management.
- Collaborate with Employee Relations and HR specialists to address labor relations, minimize risks, and maintain compliance with labor laws and agreements.
- Foster strong partnerships within HR teams for consistency, teamwork, and best practices sharing.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR Business Partner role.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior and executive leaders.
- Expertise in organizational development, change leadership, talent management, and workforce planning.
- History of leading strategic HR projects and cross-departmental initiatives.
- Outstanding consulting, coaching, and relationship-building competencies.
- Capacity to influence decision-makers without formal direct authority.
- Comfort working amid ambiguity, frequent changes, and shifting priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data to guide decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional designations such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar advanced HR certifications.
- Experience in healthcare settings supporting medical groups or clinicians.
- Background in managing labor relations, grievance processes, or unionized work environments.

Additional Information
- Location: Remote through Q1 2027; candidates should reside near Irvine, CA; Portland, OR; or Renton, WA for potential future hybrid onsite requirements.
- Contract Duration: Contract position with potential for extension or conversion to permanent employment.
- Compensation: Hourly pay range of $60 to $65.
