Role overview

This is a permanent Human Resources Business Partner position based in Greater Dublin, in the north-west area close to the M50. The working pattern is hybrid, with 3 days on site and 2 days working from home.

The role

Reporting to a senior HR manager, this role partners with senior leaders across commercial, operational, and support functions. It combines strategic business partnering with practical generalist HR delivery, so it will suit someone comfortable advising in leadership settings while also handling day-to-day HR work.

Key responsibilities

• Work with senior leaders to understand business priorities and turn them into practical people plans that support performance and growth
• Develop trusted relationships with managers and leadership teams across a dispersed, field-based workforce
• Coach managers on people leadership topics such as feedback, difficult conversations, performance management, and employee development
• Handle employee relations matters from start to finish, giving managers clear and consistent guidance throughout
• Support organisational change, restructuring, and integration activity with a strong focus on employee impact
• Use workforce data and analysis to identify trends and support better decisions
• Contribute to talent management, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives
• Support engagement and inclusion activity, including helping leaders respond to survey feedback
• Work with the wider People team on governance, compliance, and alignment with Irish employment legislation
• Take part in workforce planning discussions with senior stakeholders
• Partner with recruitment colleagues to support hiring plans and business needs
• Assist with onboarding so new employees get off to a strong start
• Contribute to broader People projects and help improve consistency and employee experience
• Coach and support more junior members of the HR team

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience at HR Business Partner level, preferably in a fast-moving or multi-site commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and Irish employment law
• Background supporting a commercially driven workforce that is distributed or field-based
• Natural curiosity about the business and the people within it
• Comfort working through ambiguity and organisational change, with an ability to see opportunity in it
• Confidence influencing and building relationships with senior stakeholders
• Ability to think strategically while still delivering hands-on support
• Willingness to work across more than one office location
• Ability to coach and mentor junior HR colleagues

Preferred qualification

A degree in HR, Business, or a related field is desirable. CIPD qualification would be an advantage.
