Overview
We are seeking a skilled and organised Human Resources Administrator to join a busy HR team based in Limerick. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment with three days in the office and two days remote. The role involves supporting the complete employee lifecycle by managing HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, and providing employee assistance.
Responsibilities
- Keep employee and candidate records accurate, confidential, and updated across HR platforms.
- Handle daily HR administrative tasks such as document preparation, personnel file maintenance, data input, and policy administration.
- Respond professionally and promptly to routine HR inquiries from employees and managers.
- Assist with HR reporting, maintenance of records, and updating processes as needed.
- Ensure all HR procedures adhere to company policies and comply with Irish employment legislation.
- Support recruitment by screening applications and managing communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Coordinate the onboarding process by ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed and submitted timely.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Level 6 qualification in Business Administration, Commerce, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Prior administrative experience is mandatory; background in HR or recruitment is highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities to foster positive working relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with HR systems or applicant tracking systems is beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Professional, proactive, and positive attitude with a steadfast commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
Additional Desirable Skills
- CIPD qualification or ongoing pursuit thereof.
- Experience working in HR departments or performing dedicated HR administrative duties.
