Job Overview
This role is offered on behalf of a partner company seeking a Human Resource Business Partner located in the United Kingdom. The position focuses on aligning human resources initiatives closely with business objectives within a rapidly growing, remote-first environment. It involves enhancing key HR areas such as performance management, employee engagement, compensation, and overall organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership teams across various departments to ensure that people strategies align with business priorities, goals, and growth plans.
- Enhance and support performance management systems, including job leveling, competency frameworks, KPIs, employee reviews, development plans, and managerial coaching.
- Guide managers on delivering constructive feedback, implementing performance improvement plans, conducting career development discussions, and making inclusive decisions.
- Assist in compensation-related tasks like analyzing pay data, reviewing salary structures, performing equity assessments, and ensuring consistent reward policies.
- Lead employee engagement efforts by interpreting survey results, pinpointing areas for improvement, and supporting initiatives that foster culture and retention.
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, internal moves, and enhancing the overall employee journey.
- Manage cross-departmental HR projects by coordinating stakeholders, tracking progress, documenting outcomes, and maintaining high operational standards.
- Improve HR operations by implementing automation, refining procedures, upgrading HRIS systems, maintaining documentation, and creating scalable workflows.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and maintain accurate documentation to support organizational expansion.
- Contribute to learning and development by developing learning pathways, resources for managers, coaching content, and programs aimed at boosting employee skills.
- Utilize HR metrics and business data to evaluate the impact of initiatives related to engagement, retention, performance, onboarding, and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in HR, specifically as a Business Partner supporting managers and leaders in dynamic settings.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee comprehensive people processes encompassing performance management, employee engagement, compensation, learning, and HR operational excellence.
- Experience working with remote-first, international, or distributed teams, adept at collaborating across cultures and time zones.
- Strong partnership skills with the capability to influence decisions, respectfully challenge ideas, and translate business needs into effective HR strategies.
- Expertise in designing, enhancing, and scaling HR processes in expanding organizations.
- Analytical proficiency to interpret employee data, recognize trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Excellent project management abilities to handle multiple initiatives and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Familiarity with HR platforms and collaboration tools such as HRIS, Notion, Asana, Monday.com, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication skills in both writing and speaking to engage employees, managers, and senior leaders effectively.
- Background in direct-to-consumer (DTC) markets, performance marketing, technology sectors, or high-growth companies is advantageous.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable assuming ownership in a fast-evolving organizational environment.
