Role Overview
A leading international law firm based in the New York City area is seeking a skilled HRIS Coordinator with at least 2 years’ experience managing various modules within SAP SuccessFactors. This role supports the firm's Human Capital Management system encompassing employee data, timekeeping, recruiting, benefits, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update employee records, including position management and processing new hire forms, benefits selections, and changes.
- Provide assistance to employees and managers by maintaining a shared HRIS troubleshooting mailbox, managing routine support issues, and escalating complex problems.
- Support staff with time and attendance matters using Employee Central Time (ECT), including troubleshooting timesheet concerns.
- Collaborate with managers, payroll, and benefits teams to coordinate employee data adjustments.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Assist with system upgrades by testing new features and developing Quick Reference Guides for end-users.
- Monitor and manage HRIS issues escalated through customer support ticketing systems.
- Support recruiting and onboarding by creating new position postings, compiling job descriptions, and managing new hire paperwork.
- Assist in mid-year and annual performance review processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with multiple SAP SuccessFactors modules.
- Experience working with the PlanSource benefits platform is highly desirable.
- Background in law firms or professional services firms is preferable.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, occasionally reactive atmosphere.
- Willingness to occasionally work overtime to meet deadlines.
