Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our Rail Operations team based in Mackay, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery of palletised freight to customers within the Mackay metropolitan area while providing excellent customer service and upholding the Linfox brand.
Work Schedule
This is a permanent full-time position operating primarily Monday to Friday, from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a rotating Saturday morning shift, allowing for a balanced lifestyle with afternoons off.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver palletised freight safely across the Mackay metropolitan region.
- Adhere strictly to Linfox's safety standards and promote the Vision Zero safety philosophy.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations and road transport legislation.
- Perform pre-start vehicle inspections and complete all required documentation accurately.
- Represent Linfox professionally in all customer and workplace interactions.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence.
- Possession of an LF Forklift Licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with the Mackay metropolitan area’s road network.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer-focused approach.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive, proactive attitude.
