Descrizione del lavoro
Role overview
A major US hedge fund with a fast-expanding London presence is hiring a new HR Assistant to support its Human Capital team. This is a newly created position and will report directly to the HR Director.
What the role covers
You will own a visible set of HR operations tasks across the full employee journey. The position is hands-on and broad, with a strong focus on onboarding, coordination with outside vendors and internal stakeholders, and welcoming new starters across all functions in Europe.
Because the business is scaling quickly, the right person will need to work independently, stay proactive, and handle a fast-moving environment while supporting the HR Director across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
Projects and growth
The role also includes project-based work aimed at improving existing processes, especially in onboarding, offboarding, and talent management. There is scope for the successful hire to develop into a Business Partner role within the Human Capital function over time.
Candidate profile
The firm is seeking someone with 1 to 4 years of experience in HR Administration, HR Coordination, or HR Analyst roles. Strong academic credentials are preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to work with limited supervision, adapt quickly, and show the ambition to grow into the position.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary is capped at £85,000, with the potential for a significant year-end bonus for strong performers. The benefits package is described as exceptional and includes premium healthcare, a generous pension, fully subsidised gym membership, and daily fully subsidised breakfast and lunch.
