The position entails maintaining the cleanliness and overall maintenance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring these spaces meet the high standards expected at a luxury hotel.

Responsibilities

The Houseman is empowered to proactively manage various housekeeping tasks such as fulfilling guest requests, restocking carts, cleaning rooms and public spaces. This role requires constant movement and manual handling of items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Adhering to safety protocols, confidentiality, and company standards are vital. Professional appearance and conduct are mandatory at all times.

Qualifications and Work Environment

Candidates must be prepared for physically active duties including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods and manual labor. This is a non-management role, located on-site at Abu Dhabi’s PO Box 91888 Al Maqta Area.
