Role Overview

The Housekeeping staff at our school campus is tasked with ensuring cleanliness and maintaining hygiene throughout the institution. This role encompasses responsibilities across classrooms, offices, restrooms, corridors, and communal spaces, supporting a sanitary and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and guests.

Primary Duties

• Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, staff rooms, washrooms, and shared areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust surfaces, and vacuum furnishings to maintain cleanliness.
• Disinfect high-contact points such as desks, door handles, switches, and railings to uphold hygiene standards.
• Empty garbage bins regularly and manage waste disposal appropriately.
• Ensure restock of hygiene materials including soap, tissues, and toilet paper in washrooms.
• Clean glass surfaces including windows, glass doors, and bulletin boards frequently.
• Report maintenance concerns like damaged fixtures or leaks promptly to supervisors.
• Provide assistance during school functions or events with preparation and post-event cleanup.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working order.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies and procedures throughout daily tasks.
