Role overview
The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for checking guest units to confirm they are clean and fully prepared for incoming guests and owners. This role sits in a busy, growth-focused environment where there is room to build a long-term career.
Schedule and pay
This is a Tuesday through Saturday position. Compensation is $18 per hour.
What you'll do
- Review assigned units carefully to make sure they are spotless and properly staged.
- Verify that cleaning standards have been met in each unit.
- Ask room attendants to revisit any areas that were overlooked or not cleaned correctly.
- Support housekeeping supervisors in building teamwork and a positive work atmosphere.
- Inform supervisors or managers when additional attention is needed or when team members need clearer direction.
- Take on other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and work style
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping and/or in a supervisory capacity is expected.
- You should bring strong energy and a genuine focus on cleanliness and service quality.
- Strong attention to detail is important for this role.
- You must be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written form.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once is needed.
- A drive to continuously improve the quality of work is essential.
- You should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional conduct must be maintained at all times.
