Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated housekeeping professionals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to guests. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will perform daily tasks assigned by supervisors, adhering strictly to hotel policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor, maintaining accurate records in the key logbook.
- Clean guest rooms and bathrooms thoroughly, including beds, sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors; polish brass and metal fixtures.
- Ensure fire exits and stairways remain free from obstructions at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Pick up litter from corridors and pathways.
- Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture; dust and wipe down furniture; empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
- Replenish bathroom and room supplies as needed.
- Arrange guest toiletries tidily on vanity tops and spot-clean carpets when necessary.
- Keep guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas clean and orderly.
- Remove room service trays and trolleys from guestrooms and corridors promptly.
- Notify valet service to collect guest clothing for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
Ideally, candidates will have completed vocational training related to hotel housekeeping. A good command of English is advantageous.
Knowledge & Competencies
The perfect candidate should be friendly, caring, and dedicated with strong cross-cultural sensitivity. They must be willing to put in additional effort and time when necessary and possess a passion for excellent customer service. Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to work effectively with a multicultural team and diverse guests is essential.
