We are currently looking to hire a Full-Time Handyperson to join our dedicated engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the hotel. Your hands-on duties will encompass performing various repair tasks across all areas within the building, with special focus on room maintenance, preventative care, and responding to guest requests. Additionally, you are expected to inspect workspaces and equipment regularly and report any conditions requiring improvement, all while observing hotel safety standards and operational procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in similar maintenance roles, preferably within hotel environments.
• Strong hands-on skills in maintenance and repair tasks.
• A friendly and approachable manner suitable for guest interaction.
• Meticulous attention to detail combined with a solid work ethic.
• Effective communication skills across speaking, reading, and writing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Technically proficient, comfortable using computers and maintenance systems.
• Creative problem-solving abilities with aptitude for meeting deadlines.
• Full legal working rights in Australia and the flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends.
