About the Role
The London Borough of Redbridge's Housing Needs Service is undergoing a significant transformation aimed at achieving positive outcomes for residents. We are looking for individuals who can build strong, trusting relationships and have the necessary skills to provide lasting housing solutions.
Role Overview
We seek a Hostel Support Officer dedicated to a resident-focused approach. This role is crucial in improving residents' lives through preventing and alleviating homelessness. Responsibilities include supporting homeless individuals registered in hostels, overseeing day-to-day hostel operations, performing administrative duties, reporting maintenance issues, and tracking the resolution of these problems.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a clear understanding of the Housing Act 1996 and the Homeless Reduction Act 2017, alongside a willingness to learn and adapt.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, permanent position. Interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 10th August 2025.
