About the Role
Join the crew aboard Queenstown’s renowned vessels, the historic TSS Earnslaw and Spirit of Queenstown, delivering an exceptional guest experience on and around Lake Whakatipu. As a Host, you will be central to the operation, crafting lasting memories for visitors from across the globe while immersed in one of New Zealand's distinctive tourism settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding food and beverage service including bar and café duties.
- Welcome and assist guests during boarding and throughout their journey onboard.
- Support daily operations including special events and contribute to maintaining vessel presentation.
- Collaborate within a close-knit team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in food and beverage services, including bar and barista skills.
- Confident and engaging host with the ability to maintain high service standards.
- Strong communication skills, adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude with willingness to contribute across multiple tasks such as cleaning and operational duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in maritime environments is advantageous.
