Role overview

Sienna Senior Living is hiring a Hospitality Aide for an active vacancy in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. This is a full-time onsite role with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and scheduled hours from 11:00am to 7:00pm. In this position, you will support residents through hospitality services while helping create a warm, respectful, and caring environment.

Key responsibilities

As part of a busy team, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and resident-focused dining environment. Your work will contribute directly to residents’ daily comfort and overall experience in the home.

• Support meal preparation and serve meals to residents
• Respect and follow resident diet plans and food preferences
• Collect meal selections from residents
• Set up and clear dining tables, keeping the dining area orderly
• Use correct food handling practices at all times

Candidate profile

• Completion of Grade 12 or an accepted equivalent is required
• A valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate is needed, or you must be willing to obtain one
• A genuine commitment to caring for seniors and supporting them to live well
• Strong attention to detail along with solid customer service and communication skills
• Prior experience in food service, ideally in institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality settings, is an asset
• All applicants must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
