Operating in nine markets across Africa and the Middle East, it specializes in building, owning, and running telecom passive infrastructure that supports mobile network operators.
Role Overview
The Head of People will spearhead the development and execution of the company’s human capital strategy, aligning workforce capabilities with business goals. This senior leadership role encompasses oversight of talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, learning initiatives, compensation plans, compliance, and employee relations. Acting as a strategic advisor to leadership, the position cultivates a high-performance culture and fosters continuous organizational growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing comprehensive people strategies, policies, and systems tailored to the business needs.
- Overseeing all facets of HR functions including recruitment, selection, and placement processes.
- Developing and managing competitive remuneration and reward frameworks.
- Establishing and monitoring a robust performance management system.
- Communicating significant people-related updates and changes to the Managing Director.
- Driving constructive industrial relations within the company.
- Leading staff development initiatives including training and learning programs.
- Enhancing management and employee communication channels through strategic initiatives.
- Ensuring adherence to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and relevant employment laws including the Employment and Labour Relations Act.
- Ensuring full compliance with legal requirements pertaining to HR and employment matters.
- Carrying out additional tasks delegated by the Managing Director.
Qualification Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Psychology, Business Administration, or Industrial Relations.
- Advanced qualification such as a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management is required.
- Professional certifications like CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, or CHRP are advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar HR leadership role with at least 3 years at a senior management level in a reputable organization.

- Strong commercial awareness to convert business priorities into effective talent solutions.
- Proven ability to influence and guide senior leaders, building strong credibility and trust.
- Comprehensive knowledge in talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Skills in organizational development focusing on design, capability building, and workforce planning.
- Experience in managing change, especially during restructuring and organizational growth.
