About the Role
This senior leadership position is focused on establishing and expanding a strategic partnerships division within a dynamic organization based in the United States. The role encompasses ownership of major technology and ecosystem partner relations to drive future growth, blending strategic relationship management with business development and operational execution. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a scalable partnership strategy that enhances relationships with key technology collaborators, especially in AI platforms and data infrastructure spheres.
- Cultivate and manage relationships across diverse stakeholder levels – including sales, technical staff, and executive leadership.
- Lead creation and execution of co-selling and co-marketing programs to generate tangible pipeline and revenue growth.
- Act as the organization's representative in strategic partner discussions, fostering collaboration, solving issues, and adding mutual value.
- Design and establish partnership frameworks, processes, and reporting approaches to support a sustainable partnership function.
- Scout and assess new partnership opportunities aligned with business expansion objectives.
- Serve as a liaison for partners within internal teams, sharing market insights and ecosystem trends to inform sales, marketing, and product strategies.
- Work cross-functionally to support integration efforts, strategic projects, and long-term partner success.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or related go-to-market roles.
- Demonstrated success managing partner relationships end-to-end and delivering measurable commercial impact.
- History of creating partnership functions from inception in startup or rapidly scaling tech companies.
- Competence operating effectively across multiple organizational levels from individual contributors to senior executives.
- Strong business acumen with a record of converting partnerships into revenue and growth.
- Exceptional communication skills capable of engaging both technical and business audiences.
- High degree of ownership, adaptability, and comfort navigating ambiguous environments.
- Experience in AI, data platforms, developer tools, open-source, or data infrastructure ecosystems is highly preferred.
