Role Overview
As our Information Systems group expands to enhance support for our people, products, and customers worldwide, this role offers a unique chance to define cyber security strategy within a complex multinational technology firm. You will lead cyber resilience strategy, oversee governance frameworks, and protect critical systems by balancing security measures with business agility and innovation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create and lead the enterprise-wide cyber security strategy, including roadmaps and operational models
- Provide executive leaders and the Board with insights and guidance on cyber risks and security priorities
- Improve organizational resilience by developing modern incident response, recovery, and risk management protocols
- Integrate security into architecture, software development, cloud operations, and third-party systems
- Manage governance, compliance, and assurance related to security audits, frameworks, and regulations
- Promote a culture emphasizing cyber awareness, accountability, and digital trust throughout the organization
- Build and mentor a high-performing cyber security team and establish trusted partnerships across business units
- Continuously enhance security practices and technologies to align with business objectives
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with extensive experience in enterprise cyber security within multifaceted organizations, who understands that robust security fuels business success. They possess a strong technical background combined with the ability to present effectively to executive boards and foster a security-conscious culture throughout the company.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Considerable leadership experience in cyber security, information security, or cyber risk management in complex settings
- Experience advising senior leadership and Boards on cyber security strategy and governance
- Expertise with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, or similar standards
- Demonstrated knowledge in cloud security, identity and access management, data protection, secure architecture, and third-party risk management
- Possession of relevant industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Sharp commercial awareness to balance security, risk, and business priorities
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication abilities, and leadership skills
