Role Overview

The Head Barista role is a full-time position located on-site in Patiala. This key position is responsible for managing the daily beverage operations, ensuring exceptional standards in product preparation and guest experience. Duties include crafting and presenting coffee and other beverages to elevate quality, mentoring and training barista team members, and sustaining cleanliness and orderliness in bar and service zones. Inventory oversight of coffee, milk, syrups, and related supplies is part of this role, working closely with management for menu updates and promotions. The incumbent will also oversee equipment maintenance and safety, manage guest inquiries, resolve service issues, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace ambiance. Collaboration with the broader team supports consistent service delivery and aligns with brand expectations.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven skill in coffee preparation, with expertise in espresso-based drinks and beverage presentation focusing on quality and precision.
• Experience in leading or supervising barista or hospitality teams, including responsibilities for training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Excellent customer service aptitude, capable of professional interaction, handling feedback constructively, and creating a warm environment for all guests.
• Competence in inventory management, including stock monitoring and liaising with suppliers or management to ensure timely replenishments.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols, dedicated to maintaining clean and organized workspaces and equipment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills conducive to teamwork and fostering a respectful, inclusive work culture.
• Adept at operating in fast-paced settings, managing time efficiently, and juggling multiple priorities during peak periods.
• Previous senior barista or similar hospitality leadership experience; formal barista certification or training is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirements.
