Graduate Trainee Accounts

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Graduate Trainee to join our expanding Finance Department based in Harare. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates to launch their careers in accounting, finance, and business operations within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting and bookkeeping operations.
• Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation tasks.
• Help in managing cash flow, maintaining filing systems, and keeping accurate financial records.
• Manage and organize accounting documentation and schedules efficiently.
• Enter financial data into the company's accounting software.
• Aid in procurement processes, inventory management, and related financial administrative duties.
• Contribute to month-end financial reporting and other activities within the finance department.
• Carry out any additional finance and administrative tasks assigned by the department.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a comparable qualification.
• Exhibit strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in computer use, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Be keen to learn and capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Allowances and Remuneration

• Successful candidates will initially receive a monthly transport stipend.
• A daily lunch allowance will also be provided during the trainee period.
• Following a probation period of three months, a salary package will commence.
