About Abound
Abound is reshaping consumer lending across the UK and beyond by leveraging advanced AI techniques and Open Banking data to provide fair and affordable personal finance options to a wider audience. Unlike traditional lenders that depend heavily on credit scores, we assess the entire financial landscape—examining expenditure and repayment capacity—to develop a nuanced understanding of each customer's unique financial circumstances.
Our approach has been proven successful at scale, having issued over 30 billion in loans with exceptional credit performance. For every 10 defaults the industry predicts, Abound experiences only 3. Achieving profitability within just 2.5 years of operation, the company is backed by more than 3 billion from leading investors including Citi, GSR Ventures, and Deutsche Bank. Recognized as one of Europe's fastest-growing fintechs, we are expanding into new markets and products and seek driven individuals eager to rapidly learn, take initiative, and grow alongside us.
