About the role

The business is seeking a Grader Operator to support construction projects in Victoria. In this role, you will help maintain site quality and safety while working alongside supervisors, managers, and fellow operators to deliver accurate grading outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Use grading equipment to shape and prepare land for construction work.
• Carry out precise levelling and grading in line with project requirements.
• Perform routine checks on machinery to support safe and reliable operation.
• Work with supervisors, managers, and site teams to coordinate grading tasks.
• Follow all site safety procedures and company rules at all times.
• Escalate machinery issues or potential hazards to the supervisor without delay.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience operating a grader, or similar machinery, in construction.
• A valid driver licence and the required machine operating tickets or certifications.
• Solid knowledge of grading methods and construction site safety practices.
• Good teamwork and clear communication skills.
• Physical fitness and comfort working in changing weather conditions.
• Final trim experience is essential.
• Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety rules, codes, and procedures.
• Willingness to take on varied duties as needed.
• Construction induction white card.
• Readiness to work in remote or regional locations.
