Job Overview
As a General Manager at a McDonald's corporate-owned restaurant, you will lead and manage operations to ensure profitability while upholding McDonald's standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. You will collaborate with your leadership to define strategic goals and develop plans to accomplish them. Your role includes managing Department Managers by helping them set objectives, monitoring their progress, providing coaching, and enhancing overall departmental performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring financial success and high standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of Department Managers to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team.
- Maintain excellent customer service and operational quality consistent with McDonald's critical standards.
Qualifications
- Experience managing high-volume locations as a General Manager is preferred.
- Background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desirable.
- Must be at least 18 years old to fulfill management duties in corporate-owned restaurants.
