General Manager - Food and Hospitality Industry

About the Role

SiO Suites is recruiting an accomplished General Manager with 15 to 20 years of experience in hospitality. This role entails spearheading hotel and restaurant operations to guarantee outstanding guest services, uphold superior service standards, and support sustained business growth. The candidate must demonstrate robust leadership skills, an in-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality benchmarks, and be adept at managing operational workflows, corporate relations, financial outcomes, and team development hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer strategic vision and direct the efficient functioning of all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance.
• Set and maintain operational procedures, service benchmarks, and quality standards to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Oversee the Front Office operations including reservations, room management, check-in/check-out processes, and personalized guest services with special attention to VIP and corporate clients.
• Manage restaurant operations ensuring hygiene, service quality, presentation, and guest delight while controlling costs and procurement.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with corporate clients and business associates to drive occupancy and revenue growth through professional proposals and corporate agreements.
• Handle financial performance by monitoring revenue, billing accuracy, receivables, MIS reports, and coordinating with accounts for compliance and invoicing.
• Lead all official communications, including inquiries, business correspondence, and negotiations with professionalism and promptness.
• Inspire and develop staff through recruitment, training, performance appraisal, discipline, and fostering a collaborative, accountable work culture.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate or postgraduate in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 15 to 20 years of advancing experience in hotel operations with leadership roles in premium hotels and restaurants.
• Expertise in managing guest service operations, PMS software, revenue management, budgeting, and hospitality compliance.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, written communication abilities, and commercial acumen with proactive leadership qualities.
