Gardening Team Leader

About the role

This opportunity is for a hands-on team leader who will guide a crew responsible for keeping green assets in excellent condition across multiple contracts in Logan and Brisbane.

The right person will be comfortable working outside, notice the small details, and take genuine pride in producing high-quality results.

Key duties

• Lead and support a team delivering maintenance works on lawns and landscaped areas.
• Use mowing machinery safely and with good efficiency.
• Carry out routine checks and upkeep on equipment.
• Keep grassed and planted areas maintained to a consistently high finish.
• Attend to service requests as and when they arise.
• Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and operational standards.

What we are looking for

• Experience in gardening work using push mowers, ride-on mowers, brush cutters, hedgers, secateurs, weed control, and spraying.
• A current manual driver’s licence.
• Construction White Card.
• The ability to take direction, work well with others, and also handle tasks independently.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a dependable approach to work.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing conditions, from hot summer weather through to cooler winter days.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
