What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies.
• Enhance frontend user interfaces, build RESTful APIs, and develop backend services with emphasis on performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, and engineering teams to create seamless and engaging user experiences.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, architectural decisions, and continuous improvements.
• Debug and resolve production issues, delivering long-term solutions.
• Contribute to AI-driven projects such as intelligent recommendations, conversational systems, and machine learning features.
• Promote software quality through automated testing, monitoring, and adherence to best engineering practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or equivalents.
• Strong backend development skills in Java and Spring Boot or similar technologies.
• Experience designing and using REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications in production.
• Experience using Git and modern software development workflows.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative, distributed, cross-functional team.

Additional Desired Skills

• Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Golang, Python, C#, or C++.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Redis.
• Awareness of distributed systems concepts, performance tuning, security, authentication, and monitoring.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, generative AI, prompt engineering, or large language models.
• Track record of building and maintaining scalable, highly available enterprise applications.
• Ability to engage in technical design, architecture discussions, and mentoring junior developers.

Compensation and Benefits

The annualized salary range for this role is between 108100 and 222800 CAD, depending on factors such as education, skills, experience, role scope, and location.
