Role Overview
The Front of House Administrator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Adelaide, South Australia. The individual will manage reception responsibilities including welcoming visitors, handling incoming calls, and responding promptly to general inquiries, ensuring a professional and friendly interaction at all times.
Key Duties
- Manage the reception area by greeting visitors warmly and directing them as appropriate.
- Answer and route phone calls efficiently, maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and manage office supplies inventory.
- Organize appointment and meeting scheduling coordinating with relevant team members.
- Support administrative tasks including accurate record keeping, data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Assist with the organization of internal events or training sessions as required to support the team.
- Foster a positive office atmosphere through consistent high-quality client service and communication.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven competency in receptionist duties, including managing multi-line phone systems and attending to visitors.
- Strong clerical capabilities involving filing, data entry, mail handling, and managing office resources.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with professionalism and confidence interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, with a professional demeanor, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in common office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace and general basic IT literacy.
- Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Reliable presence on-site in Adelaide with punctuality and a cooperative team mindset.
- Previous experience in administrative or reception roles preferred; business administration or office support certifications are considered advantageous.
