About Mindrift and the Role

Mindrift connects skilled professionals to AI initiatives developed by leading tech innovators worldwide, aiming to harness the power of Generative AI through global expertise. We are recruiting a Frontend Developer for our Tendem project to contribute remotely on a part-time basis. This freelance position involves creating and refining landing pages, promotional pages, waitlist pages, and small multi-page websites such as portfolios, restaurant websites, small business sites, and simple e-commerce platforms that meet client specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop landing pages and promotional content with clearly defined hero areas, call-to-actions, and layouts focused on user conversion
Create compact multi-page websites including typical sections like Home, About, Services, and Contact that follow client information architecture
Implement responsive, mobile-first designs that perform consistently across various devices and browsers
Integrate forms, email capture functionality, basic analytics tools, and straightforward CMS or headless content management systems
Apply core on-page SEO principles including semantic markup, meta tags, page speed optimizations, and accessibility standards to optimize page ranking and advertising readiness
Review and enhance AI-generated frontend outputs by polishing markup, styles, layout organization, and textual elements to ensure production-level quality
Independently troubleshoot and resolve layout, performance, and cross-browser compatibility issues

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of three years’ experience in frontend development, particularly within landing page and website creation
Higher education such as a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Design, or allied disciplines is advantageous
Proficiency in modern frontend technologies, responsive design, and building visually compelling, conversion-oriented web interfaces with rigorous attention to detail
Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including mastery of responsive design techniques like Flexbox and Grid
Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework, including but not limited to React, Next.js, Vue, or Astro
Use of utility-first CSS frameworks (Tailwind) or contemporary component libraries
Capability to translate design files from Figma or similar formats into clean, modular code
Knowledge of form processing, email marketing integration, and basic analytics installations such as GA4 or Plausible
Understanding of fundamental on-page SEO, accessibility compliance (WCAG), and Core Web Vitals performance metrics
Familiarity with simple CMS or headless content platforms like Webflow, Framer, Sanity, or Contentful is a plus
Excellent visual judgment and a polished aesthetic that ensures professional, intentional page design
Self-motivated work style with proven ability to deliver quality results with minimal oversight
Portfolio showcasing completed landing pages and small websites is mandatory
English language skills at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher are required

Additional Information

Project engagement is expected to require roughly 10 to 20 hours weekly during active periods, though this workload is an estimate rather than a commitment. Payment rates may reach up to $60 per hour depending on expertise and contribution speed. Compensation varies with project complexity and scope; other projects might offer differing pay scales.
