About WatchDog
WatchDog is an innovative laptop anti-theft application designed for cafés, libraries, and coworking spaces, aimed at ensuring your device's safety when unattended even briefly. As we launch with an initial group of users, we're eager to share our story in a compelling and relatable way.
Role Overview
We're seeking a creative content creator and video editor to craft engaging content that stands out—beyond polished corporate styles or generic product videos. Your creations will make viewers pause, smile, connect emotionally, and think, "I need this." This role is freelance or part-time, remote, and paid, beginning with a small project with potential for extended collaboration.
Key Deliverables
- Produce short-form videos suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
- Develop humorous, relatable, and unexpected video concepts.
- Create product demonstrations that feel natural and not overtly promotional.
- Tell founder stories, craft memes, generate animations, and produce launch-related content.
- Design captivating hooks that seize attention within the opening seconds.
What We Provide
You will have access to existing ideas, video footage, the product itself, and our distinctive dog mascot, helping you hit the ground running. We value fresh ideas and a personal creative touch alongside the resources provided.
Candidate Profile
- Innate storytelling ability, thinking in terms of scenes and emotional hooks.
- Understanding of why some videos are widely shared and others ignored.
- Proficiency using editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent.
- Interest in experimenting with AI-generated videos, images, animations, or voice-over technologies.
- Preference for memorable, authentic content over slick corporate aesthetics.
- Comfortable working independently, embracing trial and error in creative processes.
