About The Role

This freelance contract opportunity is remote (preferably within UK time zones). The role requires creating engaging learning, enablement, and communication content tailored for enterprise audiences. It combines instructional design, storytelling, and content strategy to transform intricate information into clear, effective, and motivating material that enhances learning and business results.

Responsibilities

• Convert detailed client stories, products, and use cases into engaging, learner-centric content and narratives.
• Clarify complex briefs by asking targeted questions about audience, context, goals, tone, constraints, and success metrics.
• Recommend effective content formats such as scenario-based learning, job aids, decision trees, and demos.
• Develop coherent narratives that keep audiences focused, inspired, and ready to act.
• Create diverse materials including sales and training decks, learning aids, sales playbooks, e-learning scripts, videos, infographics, and technical enablement documents.
• Apply adult learning principles ensuring content is clear, relevant, and supports practice and feedback.
• Work confidently alongside AI tools to speed up drafting, editing, and improving content, ensuring accuracy, tone, inclusivity, and brand consistency.
• Translate technical product data into solution-driven content supporting sales, customer confidence, and practical application.
• Maintain alignment with client brand guidelines, consistency in terminology, formatting, and concise yet meaningful delivery.
• Collaborate closely with project leads, designers, and teams, contributing proactively and communicating effectively.
• Incorporate feedback quickly and maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and instructional soundness.
• Ensure final deliverables are thoroughly checked for factual correctness, consistency, readability, and usability.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience creating learning or enablement content for enterprise/B2B audiences.
• Excellent writing and editing skills emphasizing clarity, structure, tone, and narrative flow.
• Ability to simplify complex technical or product information into accessible and practical content.
• Experience with APIs, technical products, software platforms, integrations, or implementation workflows.
• Understanding of API concepts such as endpoints, authentication, requests/responses, data structures, and error handling.
• High technical writing discipline ensuring simplification without inaccuracies or exaggeration.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Docs and Slides.
• Strong collaboration skills, proactive communication, and positive feedback management.
• Comfortable integrating AI tools professionally for drafting and refining content.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in sales or customer enablement, or enterprise learning and development.
• Experience developing e-learning scripts or LMS-ready content.
• Familiarity with AI enablement and technical product environments.
• Experience with developer enablement, onboarding, training, or SaaS product education.
• Knowledge of API documentation tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, developer portals, or sandbox environments.
• Exposure to AI, SaaS, cloud, data, or developer platform products.
