About the Role
This FP&A Analyst position is a vital initial recruitment for HealthEdge's growing Strategic Finance team, supporting the BPaaS business alongside the wider Finance organization. The Analyst will report directly to the Director of Strategic Finance & Corporate Development and take full ownership of ongoing analysis, financial modeling, and reporting processes that are essential for communicating financial performance to company leadership, the Board, and investors.
This role emphasizes building robust processes rather than merely providing support. The ideal candidate is skilled in financial modeling, an effective communicator, and motivated to take on significant responsibility early. They will thrive in a setting with limited pre-existing infrastructure and enjoy converting complex, high-stakes problems into repeatable, clearly documented workflows. The position also offers opportunities for growth in responsibility and scope as the team expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the analytical and reporting systems used for investor communications, maintaining accuracy and readiness for each reporting cycle.
- Prepare investor-focused reports and analyses, collaborating with the Director and Investor Relations team to craft clear narratives on financial results.
- Create and refine Board reporting materials, including detailed financial analyses, presentations, and comparative market assessments.
- Develop comprehensive long-term models of product economics, projecting revenue, cost structures, margins, and unit economics at a customer level.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to explore how contract terms, growth, and costs influence long-term financial outcomes.
- Lead initiatives to adopt AI and automation tools in Finance to minimize manual reporting tasks and enhance analytical capacity.
- Participate in strategic, cross-departmental projects by providing financial models, analysis, and timely insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; a Master's in Finance (MSF) is also acceptable.
- Between 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, investment banking, consulting, or other analytical roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling along with expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly.
- Preferred: Interest in healthcare or technology sectors, comfort working amid ambiguity, a drive to develop repeatable processes from the ground up, and curiosity about employing AI and automation in finance workflows.
Additional Information
- The role is remote within the United States and classified as full-time, permanent, exempt under FLSA.
- Work environment involves extended periods using computer and video technology, possible travel as needed, and working across multiple time zones.
- HealthEdge is an equal opportunity employer promoting diversity and inclusion, encouraging all qualified individuals including minorities, women, veterans, and persons with disabilities to apply.
- The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $83,000 to $88,000, with final compensation dependent on the candidate's skills, experience, and education.
- Candidates may need to complete a pre-employment background check compliant with applicable laws.
