While their demand, machine learning developers, and decision processes are robust, the challenge lies in efficiently managing execution beyond these areas.

Role Overview

The Founders Associate / Operations Manager acts as the vital link between decisions and execution across all company ventures, blending operational management with direct support to the founder. Responsibilities include overseeing hardware shipment and tracking logistics, orchestrating coordination with installation partners and development teams, serving as the first contact for customer and installer support inquiries, managing commercial processes such as invoicing and bookkeeping, participating in various business calls with stakeholders, ensuring compliance and deadlines across legal and insurance matters, managing the founder's schedule and communications, handling administrative tasks related to business processes, organizing travel and onsite support, and maintaining an up-to-date overview of projects through checklists and routines. Depending on individual fit, the role may also contribute to human resources development.

Candidate Profile

• Highly organized closer who thrives in fast-moving environments.
• Background in business, technology, or communications with comfort in emails and business or technical calls.
• Uninterested in conventional sales tasks.
• Some practical knowledge or keen interest in hardware, such as building a gaming PC or working with Raspberry Pi, or willingness to learn.
• Experience or readiness to handle German bureaucracy and legal interactions including DATEV, attorneys, and compliance.
• Discretion with business and customer information; values privacy and modesty in success.
• Fluent in both German and English at a native level.
• Authorized to work in Germany with willingness to provide background checks if requested.
• Flexible and prepared to travel internationally on short notice for datacenter, supplier, or customer visits.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers genuine responsibility from the beginning, working closely with the founder without intermediary layers. A competitive salary ranging from €42,000 to €50,000 annually dependent on experience will be provided, complemented with a variable success bonus and equity participation opportunities to benefit from the company’s growth.
