About the Company

Ducon Concrete Ltd is a major producer of precast concrete products, supplying the construction sector across Ireland. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for a careful and experienced Forklift Driver / Operator to support production and yard activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts in a safe manner to load, unload, and move concrete products and raw materials.
• Transfer completed goods around the yard and production zones.
• Help with stock control and inventory tracking.
• Carry out daily forklift inspection checks and flag any faults or damage.
• Handle and store items properly to reduce the risk of breakage or loss.
• Provide support to the production and yard teams whenever needed.
• Keep the work area tidy, safe, and well organised.

Requirements

• A current forklift licence or certification is required.
• Prior experience operating forklifts, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or an industrial setting.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Comfortable working on your own as well as with others.
• Dependable, with good attention to detail.
• Experience moving heavy or large items will be considered an advantage.
