Job Overview
This permanent position seeks an attentive Food Counter Attendant to handle food preparation and customer service in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting. Candidates do not need formal education but previous experience is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Package take-out orders efficiently and ensure proper portioning and wrapping of foods.
- Prepare, heat, and complete simple food items ready for serving.
- Serve customers directly at counters or buffet stations, including taking their orders accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors and sanitizing equipment such as mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, keeping inventory of food quantities used.
Work Environment and Requirements
- Fast-paced workplace demanding attention to detail and physical stamina.
- Extended standing periods required.
- Must demonstrate dependability, ability to multitask, client focus, and reliability.
