Role overview
Hilton is hiring a Food and Beverage Supervisor in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will help create memorable guest experiences by coordinating smooth banquet and food-and-beverage operations throughout the day. The position focuses on delivering warm hospitality, keeping event service on track, and supporting a high-performing team.
Key duties
- Provide friendly, proactive guest service and look for opportunities to enhance each guest’s experience.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of a variety of F&B events, including breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and gala functions.
- Monitor function-room preparation so that linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware are arranged to the required event standards.
- Share event details, procedures, and updates with the relevant food and beverage teams to keep operations aligned.
- Supervise the closing-down of event spaces and ensure equipment is stored properly and ready for the next function.
- Lead team operations by managing schedules, supervising daily work, coaching staff, and recognizing strong performance.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness requirements to protect guests and team members.
