Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive floor care tasks including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident areas, common spaces, and offices.
- Safely and efficiently operate floor maintenance equipment.
- Document floor care activities and alert supervisors about any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and universal precaution standards to maintain sanitary conditions.
- Engage courteously with residents, staff, and visitors, delivering superior customer service.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience with floor care is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and communicate effectively with residents, administrative personnel, and HCSG leadership to facilitate daily operations.
- Compliance with applicable COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
- Physical capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and to stand, sit, bend, and walk for prolonged durations.
- Ability to perform repetitive and routine tasks consistently.
- Comfort working in environments with food and cleaning chemicals.
- Capable of following oral and written instructions diligently every day.
- Residency within the designated service area is mandatory.
