Role Overview
Ryanair, Europe's Leading Airline Group, is expanding rapidly and seeking a Fleet Materials Specialist based in Dublin to contribute to managing their materials and spare parts inventory for their Airbus A320 fleet. This role is critical in supporting the operational success of all Ryanair group bases.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and optimizing the Airbus A320 spare parts inventory to meet all operational requirements across Ryanair's networks.
- Serving as the main contact for materials-related matters within the A320 operations.
- Assisting with the oversight of contracts involving third-party material suppliers to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
- Tracking and addressing open defects on the Airbus fleet and ensuring rapid resolution of any material shortages.
- Overseeing the repair process of parts to maintain efficient turnaround and resource management.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding repair pricing and support services.
- Supporting all group store operations to guarantee seamless workflow across the network.
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements related to materials management.
- Monitoring spare parts movements, including robberies, loans, and exchanges, to minimize costs.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve queries and achieve operational goals.
- Performing additional duties as directed by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar fleet materials or inventory management role is preferred.
- Knowledge of EASA Part 145 and Part M regulations pertinent to aircraft maintenance and materials.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively at senior management levels.
- Strong numerical skills and familiarity with contract management.
- Ability to independently organize workload and make sound judgments.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and strong communication skills.
