Role overview
Armont Recruitment is working with a large listed company that operates internationally and runs its European finance operations from Dublin. The position offers broad exposure across finance and the chance to build experience in a busy, collaborative team with ongoing internal progression opportunities.
The opportunity is well suited to a professionally qualified accountant with multinational experience, or to a practice-trained accountant from a Big 4, Top 20, or SME firm who is looking to make a first move into industry.
Key duties
- Manage both external and internal financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare local GAAP journal entries on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as needed.
- Support the preparation of tax-related reporting.
- Take responsibility for producing financial statements.
- Complete account reconciliations accurately and on time.
- Oversee and handle specialist accounting areas that require detailed attention.
Candidate profile
- You should be a fully qualified accountant, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting is required.
- You need strong Excel capability, including advanced use.
- Clear communication skills are essential.
Rewards and working arrangement
- Salary is approximately €60,000 to €63,000.
