Finance Manager - Oil & Gas

Job Overview

An established Oil & Gas organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Finance Manager to oversee core financial activities and support business decisions. This role focuses on maintaining financial health, strengthening compliance, and guiding strategic planning across the finance function.

What You Will Do

• Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reports.
• Build, track, and refine budgets, forecasts, and overall financial plans.
• Review financial results, identify trends, and share actionable insights with leadership.
• Keep spending under control and look for opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit expectations.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, banking partnerships, borrowing arrangements, and financial exposure.
• Guide, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Strengthen financial workflows, internal controls, and reporting tools.
• Maintain accurate records and data in ERP and accounting systems.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar discipline is required.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA are an advantage.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including people-management responsibilities.
• Strong command of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical review.
• Hands-on exposure to ERP or accounting platforms such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or comparable systems.
• Advanced Excel capability and strong financial modeling skills.
• Effective leadership, analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
