Role Overview

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering superior onsite technical service throughout Saudi Arabia, aiming to maximize customer satisfaction while meeting organizational revenue and performance goals. This role primarily involves performing onsite service, maintenance, installations, and upgrades on a variety of histopathology and related instruments within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct customer visits to execute preventative maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and equipment upgrades, ensuring timely and professional service aligned with team KPIs.
• Install histopathology and ancillary equipment at customer sites effectively.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation including Salesforce reports, expense reports, stock management, and other service records promptly.
• Collaborate with the Field Support Team to provide exemplary after-sales service within established service management KPIs.
• Support sales activities such as customer training, product demonstrations, installations, and system setups.
• Capture and share key customer insights to foster improved satisfaction, ensuring CRM and service management systems are updated accurately and promptly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years in Field Service or related experience with histopathology equipment.
• Familiarity with network configurations including firewalls and TCP/IP components in Windows environments is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels and with customers.
• Self-directed learner with demonstrated technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Physically able to handle and move loads up to 25 kg safely.
• Strong analytical skills and a commitment to improving service quality.
• Customer-oriented with an adaptable and open mindset.

Additional Information

• Must be willing to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages required.
• This role offers a fully remote work arrangement based in Saudi Arabia.
