About the Company
Arctic Industrial Reliable Solutions is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their Service & After-Sales department. This role is field-based and requires considerable travel to various manufacturing sectors to provide exceptional technical services.
Job Overview
The primary focus of this position is to install, commission, and maintain air compressors, air dryers, and compressed air systems. The engineer will offer on-site technical assistance and ensure prompt, quality service delivery to customers from diverse industries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and provide maintenance services for air compressors and air dryers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Evaluate equipment status and suggest repair or replacement of components.
- Document service activities and keep accurate maintenance records.
- Liaise with customers and internal departments to coordinate service tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies throughout service operations.
- Support Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), warranty services, and emergency calls.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
- ITI qualifications with applicable experience are also eligible.
- Between 6 months and 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing air compressors, air dryers, or similar industrial machinery.
- Fresh graduates with substantial technical understanding may be considered for trainee positions.
- Strong knowledge of air compressors, air dryers, and pneumatic systems is essential.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic electrical and mechanical system knowledge.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively as part of job responsibilities.
