Role Overview
The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for onboarding local shops and merchants to PhonePe's digital payment platform. This role involves promoting PhonePe's merchant solutions, including QR Codes, Soundbox devices, and other services, with the goal of acquiring new merchants to expand business reach.
Key Duties
- Engage with local businesses and merchants to enroll them onto PhonePe platform.
- Demonstrate and promote devices such as smart speakers and scanners to merchants within the designated territory.
- Clearly communicate the product features, advantages, and value propositions to merchants to encourage adoption.
- Conduct daily field visits to meet sales targets and onboard new users.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Foster strong, ongoing relationships with merchants to ensure satisfaction, support, and repeat business.
Additional Information
This role requires active daily travel within the assigned region to meet and engage potential clients in person. Maintaining excellent communication and support for merchants is essential for long-term business growth and customer retention.
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is between INR 17,000 and INR 27,000.
