Role Responsibilities
- Provide consistently professional, friendly, engaging, and warm customer service.
- Fully understand and adhere to the outlet’s policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Be well-informed about the menu, beverage options, promotional events, and outdoor catering services offered by the hotel.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menu items including their preparation, garnishes, and ingredients.
- Assist guests by offering informative and helpful advice about menu choices.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols when handling food and beverages both onsite and in outdoor catering locations.
- Perform all duties in accordance with local occupational health and safety laws.
- Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and report hazards or defects to supervisors promptly.
- Report all workplace injuries or illnesses immediately, and no later than 8 hours after occurrence.
- Operate tools and equipment safely, making sure they do not pose risk to self or others.
- Use provided personal protective equipment properly to ensure personal and team safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, preventing accidents such as slips, trips, and falls by promptly addressing spills and hazards.
- Follow safe lifting techniques and seek assistance for heavy objects.
- Engage regularly with supervisors on any safety concerns or questions.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of international cuisine, including buffet and a la carte service styles.
- At least 5 years of culinary experience within a hotel setting.
- Strong supervisory abilities coupled with effective communication skills.
- Certified training in food hygiene and safety protocols.
- Enthusiastic with a personable, outgoing nature focused on excellent guest service.
